Clock widgets presented on this page were created for and belong to Zedge, an Android app with more than 300 million installs. These clocks were available in the Zedge app, under the section “Widgets”.
The team I was working with created the clock widgets from the scratch. My tasks were to design different clocks that will help both designers and developers understand the possibilities and limitations when creating the widgets, and to create the guidelines, so that other designers can create clock widgets too.

Most of the widgets get scaled proportionally, which can become a problem when they are scaled down, because digits become too small to read. This clock is exploring the possibility of scaling, so that every size will have readable digits and a bit different design.Star Spangled – This clock changes its appearance when scaled. The bigger it is, the more stars it gets.Advent Calendar – This Christmas calendar opens up on the 1st of December. After that, for the next 24 days, one card will be opened and will reveal the part of the background.
